animal of the day

I showered an achatina snail yesterday. It is one of the 100 listed most invasive species of the world, "recognized as a serious pest organism affecting agriculture, natural ecosystems, and human health and commerce."
Wikipedia about the Achatina snail .

"Humans are noted for their desire to understand and influence their environment, seeking to explain and manipulate phenomena through sciencephilosophymythology, and religion. This natural curiosity has led to the development of advanced tools and skills, which are passed down culturally; humans are the only species known to build firescook their foodclothe themselves, and create and use numerous other technologies and arts. "
Wikipedia about the Human beeing.

That seems to be a very subjective point of view.
