""The Cunning Little Vixen" is a fable-like opera by the Czech Composer Leos Janacek. One day the little vixen, who is growing up imprisoned by a forester, manages to escape and hide in a badger´s lair. In her newly found freedom the vixen soon makes the acquaintane of a fox, and together they start a family. But family happiness comes to an abrupt end when a cruel poacher shoots the vixen."
